''Dendrobium boosii'' (Ronny Boos' dendrobium) is a member of the family Orchidaceae endemic to the Philippines. ==Description== Growth habit: epiphytic; sympodial; pendent. stems: attached to host from base; from which the plant then branches considerably and reach up to in length with a diameter of 1 mm at the base and thickening to 4 mm on secondary branches; stems covered in translucent cataphylls (a leaf whose primary function is something other than photosynthesis); internodes from long; apical two thirds of secondary and tertiary braches dark dull purple and leafy. Leaves: thinly textured; lanceolate and (sub)sessile, long by wide, at 90° to the stem. Inflorescences: single flowered; appearing from nodes of the leafless stems.
